Can high-speed train improve the innovation ability of enterprises?

This paper analyzes the impact of high-speed train construction on enterprise innovation and its specific mechanisms by establishing train-city-firm level panel data constructing a multi-period DID model in China. The results show that, firstly, significantly improves enterprises, first can increase number patents local listed enterprises about 11.5%. Second, is mainly through internal human capital external marketization enterprises. Specifically, affects weakening transportation distance; other hand, it market environment enhances competition, making firms seek actively.
